The first meeting of the 2001 season...

The first meeting for the 2001 edition of Assembly Line will occur Sunday, 12 December 2001 at 12:30pm.

Directions: Best route to Interstate 40 near Raleigh, Follow signs to Airport. You will exit off 40 about three exits before the airport if traveling from the East or three after the airport if traveling form the West. It is EXIT 291 CARY TOWNE BLVD. Make a RIGHT and go towards Cary. Second Light make a LEFT onto MAYNARD. Go through one light (WALNUT STREET), and you will want to get into the left hand lane. Take the very first Left after the huge BLUE WATER TOWER. This will be COLLINGTON DRIVE. Go over two speed bumps and park in a visitors space. We are 704 COLLINGTON.

Assembly Line 2001

The following is the date commitments for the up coming season.  

Dec. 10 First Meeting @ Jodys house 12:30

Jan. 5,6 & 7 Camp weekend Meet Friday night about8:00 until Sunday afternoon until 4:00

Jan. 14 Sunday only 10:00 am until 5:00

Jan. 21 Sunday only 10:00 am until 5:00

Jan. 28 Sunday only 10:00 am until 5:00

Feb. 2 & 3 Home Show Broughton HS Meet Friday nightpractice and set up gym for the show. Over Sat. night late.

Feb. 11 Sunday only 10:00 am until 5:00

Feb. 16,17 &18 WGI REGIONAL Richmond Va. Practice Friday Night about 9:00 and leave for Show onSat.  Spend Sat night in Va. And returnevening on Sunday after finals.

Feb. 23 & 24 Show @ Wakefield in Raleigh Practice Friday night about 9:00 and do the show Sat. evening.  No Sunday.

Mar. 3 WEEKEND OFF

Mar. 11 Sunday only 10:00 until 5:00 This may be shorterif the show is in good shape.

Mar. 16,17 & 18 WGI REGIONAL Pa. Leave for Pa. Early Friday morning and go to Pa.  Prelims on Sat. and finals on Sun.

Mar. 23 Show in Morehead City Meet in Morehead CityFriday night practice and do the show on Sat. No Sunday.

Mar. 30 Practice Friday Night.  AIA CHAMPIONSHIPS Leave for DC. on Sat. morning, show Sat. andinto the City Sat. night.  Show on Sun.return late Sunday evening

As you can see this is a very easy schedule with plenty of time off throughout the season. 

Cost:  Dues are$40.00 with an additional $150.00 in fundraising Total cost $190.00.

This does not include food.  We do try to stop at places that offer a wide range of choiceswhen we travel.  We try to stay in HS gyms as often as possible however, hotel cost are included in the price.
